Sue Palanganda – Chief Officer
Sue is responsible for the overall management of the Volunteer Centre – Nuneaton & Bedworth: she is also line manager of V See Ltd and Company Secretary of VCNB. As Chief Officer, she has the responsibility of project planning, developing the long term strategy, and writing bids to secure funds in order to sustain the various projects delivered by the Volunteer Centre. Sue acts as a chief liaison link with local, regional and national bodies for example, EVDC, Volunteering England and CWIC and directs governance of organization, along with the Board of Directors.

David Depledge - Accounts Manager
David oversees accounts for VCNB and V See Ltd and is in charge of the payroll. David is also company secretary of V See Ltd.

Alan Dobson - Business Development Manager.
Alan’s role, as Business Development Manager, is instrumental in developing and initiating projects that will increase the sustainability of the Volunteer Centre – Nuneaton & Bedworth in delivering a professional service to the community. Alan is responsible for the development of a social enterprise company (V See Ltd) which will produce income to secure the long term financial sustainability of the Volunteer Centre. Current projects that V See Ltd is involved in are, a Bulkington Community Market and a Bulkington Newsletter called Bulkington Bugle.

Guy is the Project Manager for the Connecting Communities Project. The overall aim of the Project is to create community cohesion by setting up micro projects such as Gardening, DIY, as well as establishing a skill base in craftwork and interpersonal/intergenerational undertakings. Guy is responsible for setting up the projects, liaising with key partners and communities and overseeing the delivery of the project outcomes.

Jo Greenstreet - Strategic Development Officer
Jo works with Volunteer Involving Organizations to research gaps in volunteer opportunities and to develop new opportunities in the community, as well as updating the organization and opportunity details on our database. She also offers one to one support to Volunteer Managers and undertakes developmental and training needs analysis.

Sandra is the Project Officer of the Community Craft Project which started in May 2009 and will run through to March 2012. She is responsible for promoting the project and for recruiting volunteers of all ages to participate in craft making. Older volunteers are recruited to teach young people how to knit, sew, make rag-rugs and cards in various schools within the Borough. Sandra also manages the volunteers on Medi- Car and the Supported Shopping Service.

Mannie Kalsi - Marketing & Training Co-ordinator
Mannie’s role is divided between Marketing & Training. She is responsible for producing the monthly E- Flash, writing press releases and liaising with the media and updating the websites. She is also responsible for developing, promoting and facilitating the training for volunteer managers, in house volunteers and staff.

Lee Bolesworth – Project Officer
Lee is the Project Officer for two projects. He is currently working on a DWP project, with Job Centre Plus, and the Connecting Communities Project. Lee is responsible for finding a placement to match the interest of volunteers referred through the DWP volunteering option. Lee is also responsible for recruiting and supporting volunteers for the Connecting Communities Project.

Margaret Rose – Volunteer Information Officer
Margaret is the first port of call for anyone wanting to do voluntary work. She interviews potential volunteers and finds them a suitable placement in an organisation of their choice, providing they are on our database. Margaret does all the data inputting for the volunteers onto VBase.

Sandie Frampton – Admin Officer
Sandie carries out general admin duties within the office and co-ordinates the Supported Shopping Service on a weekly basis. Sandie also provides support to Medi-Car, when needed. This role also includes tallying up stats from the VBase system and preparing data for meetings, such as the VCNB board meetings.
